Leading a Neighborhood Recovery Initiative

Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center is leading a Neighborhood Recovery Initiative, a collaboration to lift up Bangor’s First, Second, Third Street neighborhood by organizing a community food garden, community participation in artist-led murals, and cleaning up litter, planting flower-beds, and other neighborhood beautification.

Help us raise $7626 over the next 6 weeks, it’s as easy as…$1, $2, $3

How it Works?

Follow the steps below to get a peek at one of the new murals. With each donation – between $123 and $1 – more of our beautiful, new community mural will be revealed until 123 people have combined to make a big difference.

STEP 1: Look at the grid below, select an available, unrevealed block from $123 to $1 and donate.

STEP 2: Share this campaign via email and social media to encourage friends to donate and reveal more of our new, community mural.

Your generosity directly helps people in recovery in Greater Bangor – Maine’s highest overdose-rate city – and also lifts up one of Bangor’s most challenged neighborhoods: First, Second, and Third Street. Thank you!
