Support Our Mission
Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center – the flagship program of Maine Mental Health Connections, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit – is dedicated to empowering people who are in mental health or substance use recovery to take leadership in their own lives.
Support Our Work
In addition to our current Peer Run Recovery Groups – a core program of Together Place – we are leading the development of a new model for recovery rooted in empowerment, community and the arts. With your support, we can reduce Maine’s higher than average overdose and suicide rates, offer life-saving supports, and foster stronger recovery outcomes for Mainers struggling with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
While our core programs receive some state funding, the State does not cover the capital needs of our aging building, and our Creative Recovery Initiative. We depend upon private philanthropy – from generous individuals, corporations and foundations – to make our work possible.
Thank you for supporting our creative community-oriented approach to strengthening recovery in Maine.
